Wow.. I have been slacking! We had a busy but awesome November. We spent Thanksgiving weekend with our awesome Cedar City and southern Utah family :) It's always hard coming back from a nice long holiday weekend.
Some updates on our little family:
Blake is now a certified phlebotomist :) He did 15 draws between 3 people to finish up his certification, and of course, I was one of those lucky three :) He did a wonderful job and I'm so excited for him to start getting more involved in the medical field.
We were able to see our little wiggle worm today at our 20 week appointment. He is so dang cute! I can not believe that we are already half way done with this pregnancy :)

"I am thankful for every moment." - Al Green
I wanted to take a second and write down the things I am most thankful for. I know we should always express our gratitude for what we have, and for me it is very easy to get caught up in pursuing the things I want that I forget all the wonderful things I have.
My husband. Blake has been one of my greatest blessings. He is so talented, driven and patient and I am so lucky he has put up with me for over 4 years of marriage and a year of dating before that. We definitely have gone through the roughest of times and he has stuck right by me. He has made me a better person and has taught me a lot. I am so thankful for all that he adds to my life.
My mom. She is the most amazing woman I know. All my life I have watched her give to others with her whole heart. She has taught me how to be selfless and to care for others with out boundaries. I am so lucky to have a mom who would do anything for me. The older I get, the more I realize that she is one in a million. I love her so much and I am so lucky to call her mom!
My dad. He is one of the most hard working men I know. He did anything and everything he needed to, to provide for his family. He has sacrificed a lot for us, and I am forever grateful for a dad like him. He has served his country for many years, and I am so proud of him. I love him very, very much. Words can not describe.
Religion. My religion gives me hope in a world were there is more bad then there should be. It guides me and helps me make choices that will make me happy. I have lived with out religion being a part of my life, it has shown me how much happier I am with it.
Friends. I am so happy for the friends that I have. The older I have gotten, the more I have realized that quality is much more important than quantity. Especially with friendship. I have had lots of friends that seem to love to see me miserable and never seem to be happy for me. I don't need negative people in my life, and they rarely stay. I am so grateful for the ones that seem to be there for me no matter how little we talk or see each other. I am so lucky to have the friends I do, I don't know what I would do with out them :)
My great job. I have been very blessed to work for the company that I have for the past 4 and a half years. It has been so flexible and has given me a lot of opportunities to grow and mature. I work with wonderful people and that makes it just that much better. I am very lucky to have a job that I enjoy.
Utah. I am grateful to live in such a beautiful state. I hear a lot of people complain about it, but I really can't think of a place that I would rather live. Every time I go visit other places or states, I am always grateful to come back here. It's home, it's where my family is, and it's one of the most beautiful places I have been.
Lexi and Apollo. Our babies :) They bring so much to our life. I know a lot of people don't understand how animals can be like children, but these two are. I really can't imagine life with out them.
My country. I am so grateful to live in the country that I do. I am grateful to have the personal freedoms that we do. I am also very grateful for those who serve our country. Their sacrifices are what allows us to live so comfortably in our daily lives.
I am thankful for the opportunity to bring this little boy into the world. I already love him so much and I am so lucky to be a mom. I know it's going to be the greatest blessing of my life. Even though I am so scared and nervous, I am also incredibly excited. I can not wait for April to get here so I can meet this little guy :)

Oh boy.. It's a BOY!
Well I swore it from the very beginning, and I was right! I must have this super gender intuition.. I have never been wrong :)
Waiting for this doctor appointment almost killed me. I think that I am probably the most impatient person ever. The ultrasound was sure worth the wait though :)
The first thing the ultrasound tech told us was, "Wow. This child is a spaz." Awesome. He had such personality for only being 16 weeks along :) I have a feeling we will have our hands full.
It did not take her long to get a clear picture. Our little guy is not shy whatsoever :) He had the loooongest legs, I was amazed that I couldn't feel his acrobatics already:) It was so awesome to finally find out what we were having! Now let the buying begin..
After our appointment, we invited everyone over for a gender reveal. It was so nice of everyone to make it out, and thanks to those who were there in spirit!
It was such a great day! Blake is so excited to have a little soccer player :) He will be a momma's boy though, sorry Blake!

13 Weeks!
Well, we weren't expecting to be able to see our adorable little one today. We had our 13 week appointment, expecting a quick check up. When our doctor got out the Doppler to check out the heartbeat, he moved it around for a second then asked me, "Did we decide that your measurements were right on with your due date last check up?". Then he muttered something about the Doppler acting up and went out into the hall to grab the ultrasound machine. At first, I was just happy to see that cute little baby on the screen (even though the ultrasound quality is horrible) When I couldn't see that little flutter that I saw the first time, my heart sank. He pulled up the heart beat monitor screen, no sound. Adjusts and pulls it up again, no sound. Of course, I start to panic. He reassures me that the baby is moving and it surely wouldn't do that if it didn't have a heartbeat. After what seemed like hours (it was probably seconds), we hear that beautiful heart beat. I have never been so relieved in my life!
According to the doctor, the baby seems to be growing and healthy :) I am so glad the appointment ended better than it started.
We scheduled our appointment to find out the gender on October 30th. These next couple weeks will drag, I'm sure :)

We Miss You, Baby Elijah
Today marks the one year anniversary that our nephew, Elijah Micheal Law, passed away. We went to his grave and enjoyed some time with family and friends while reflected on Elijah's life. He was only here for 9 months, but he taught most of us more in those short months than we have learned our entire lives before. He brought me and his mom closer and I am so grateful to have her as one of my closest friends. You never know how long you will have your loved ones with you, do not take them for granted. Enjoy every second you have with the ones you love, and do not waste your life on those who only want to bring you down. Life is just too short to be anything but happy!
If you are interested in Elijah's story, feel free to visit his blog.

The doctor told us that as of right now everything looks healthy and normal and the entire appointment went extremely well :) We are so excited to welcome this little baby into our family, April sure can't come soon enough!!
